Lansdown Townhouse

The owners had lived in two rooms of a five-storey house for a decade. We started with the light on each floor, then gave every room one job and one colour. Limewashed walls in pink plaster and Bath stone carry you up the stair; the kitchen moved to the garden floor; and a dark back study became the warmest room in the house.
