Ochre walls and linen soften a hard-edged warehouse flat without hiding its bones.
Concrete, steel and a wall of glass: beautiful, and very loud. We kept every original surface and added warmth in layers: ochre limewash on the one plaster wall, a long linen curtain, a deep wool rug and lamps at three heights. The flat still looks like a warehouse; it just sounds and feels like a home.
