Low ceilings, thick walls and a palette of smoke green and chalk for a 1780s cottage.
Small windows and low beams can feel like a cave or a hug. We chose the hug: smoke green on the woodwork, chalk white on uneven walls, rush matting, and furniture scaled down so the rooms breathe.
Before & after
Materials
- Smoke Green eggshell on woodwork
- Chalk White limewash
